Josh and Kristin fell in love with the art of old world chocolate making and the complexity of cacao while on their honeymoon in San Francisco, CA. Terroir Chocolate is a bean to bar chocolate making company based in Fergus Falls, MN.
Ethically sourced cacao beans, hand sorted, small batch roasted, and
stone-ground for several days, molded into bars and hand wrapped in Fergus Falls, MN.

Each of our organic, single-origin dark chocolate bars have unique taste profiles due to the influence of the soil, the climate, and the other vegetation grown around the cacao tree throughout its development, much like wine or coffee.

TERROIR (tare-whar): ..."a sense of place," which is embodied in certain characteristic qualities, the sum of the effects that the local environment has had on the production of the product.
